Dinner with Peter Davies: data, defence, decarbonisation and beyond: investing in today’s most important themes

May 2, 2024 | 18:30 GMT

James Gourlay

We are delighted to welcome Peter Davies, Partner and Head of Development Markets Strategy at Lansdowne Partners, for an evening with the Curation Collective.

Peter has run the Developed Markets Opportunities Fund for the last 12 years. The fund invests in many trends that we believe will be the most important investment themes of the coming years.

Whether it is the critical materials that will drive the energy transition, the use of healthcare innovation to improve and extend human life, or defence technologies that revolutionise how we keep our populations safe, Peter is a leading voice on investing in these fields.

Peter led the establishment of Oxford Science Enterprises, an innovative venture that works to found, fund and build technology spin-outs from Oxford University that address society’s greatest challenges. He is also on the board of Nattergal, a leading British nature-based solutions company.

We can think of no one better to have a wide-ranging discussion on innovation and investing with.

We hope you can join us.

We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting a dinner with the Rt Hon Dominic Raab MP on Thursday the 23rd of November from 6.30pm.

Throughout the evening, we will have a wide-ranging discussion that will touch on some of the most pertinent issues of the day.

The discussion will also involve a deep look at UK politics and economics. Dominic previously served as Brexit Secretary, Lord Chancellor and Deputy Prime Minister in HM’s government.
